Feedback from our customersThe Edimax USB stick has been working a treat with my home wireless system ever since. Please put me down as a satisfied customer! Once again, thank you very much for your assistance. Kind regards Jim Just to let you know it works a treat with Ubuntu v8.04 'Hardy Heron' - 32 & 64 bit variants - as stated. Also works 'out of the box' with Ubuntu v8.10 'Intrepid Ibex' (32 and 64 bit variants) & Puppy Linux v 4.1 & is fully 'hot pluggable' with all variants. Supports WEP & WPA security on all three as well. Stuart I thought you might like to know that the Asus X58L I ordered from you last Monday morning arrived safely about midday on the Tuesday. Since then I've been using it constantly, and am very happy with it. This is my first Linux system, after trying out Ubuntu on VirtualBox over the past year and a half, and so far I can see no reason to go back to using Windows fulltime. Of course there are a couple of trivial bugs - the main one is the tendency of the wifi connection to cut out every so often - but I'm sure these will be sorted out as the drivers continue to be developed. Thanks again for your service, Colin Just a note to say thanks for shipping my router and network card in a timely manner, for packing them up sensibly, and for generally being pretty darned good. The router with Tomato on it is excellent, and I shall be recommending it to anyone who will listen. Thanks again and merry Christmas, Peter. Hi, thanks for you great website, info., and speedy service. Puppy linux 4.1.2 - immediate wireless connection with Comtrend-pcmcia RT2500. Cheers, Peter |
